Set the station number setting switch, data link
transmission speed setting switch, and operation
setting DIP switch.
(1) Station number setting switch

Precautions when setting peripheral connection
module
(1) mode setting switch
Be sure to set the Operation mode setting switch
to "5" (MELSOFT/connection mode).
(2) RS-232 transmission setting switch
Turn OFF SW1 through SW8 of the RS-232
transmission setting switch.
If any switch of SW1 through SW8 is ON, setting
error will occur (RUN LED turns off).
