PowerPath
For a server with registered HBAs
Perform this task
either
across the LAN connected to the
Navisphere portal for the storage
system,
or
from an attached host or a host
networked to an attached host,
or
from a laptop connected to a
storage-system serial port, as
described in the storage-system
setup guide.
For a server with any HBAs
Perform this task
either
from an attached host or a host
networked to an attached host,
or
from a laptop connected to a
storage-system serial port, as
described in the storage-system
setup guide.
Across LAN
Use Navisphere Manager’s
Failover Setup Wizard (selected
from the Tools menu on the
toolbar) to set the following
storage-system properties for the
server’s existing HBA ports
(initiators):
Failover mode to 1
Array commpath to Enabled
