For a server with VERITAS VxVM
V3.1.1 or below

Before you reboot the server, edit
the /etc/rcS.d/S24powerstartup
file to add the following two lines
to the bottom of the file after the
last fi character:
/etc/powermt set
volume_open_policy=firstpath
echo "PowerPath:powermt set
volume_open_policy=firstpath"
On the next reboot, the first path
policy used by CLARiiON storage
systems will take effect.
For a server with VERITAS VxVM
V3.1.1 or below
