storage-system properties for the
server’s HBA ports (initiators):
Initiator Type to CLARiiON Open
Failover mode to 1
Array commpath to Enabled
For a
CX-Series
or FC4700-Series
storage system

Use the following Navisphere CLI
command to determine the
default storage-system type:
navicli -h
hostname
systemtype
where
hostname
is the IP
address or network name of an
SP in the storage system.
If the default storage-system
system type is
not
3 (CLARiiON
Open), use the following
Navisphere CLI command to set
it to 3:
navicli -h
hostname
systemtype
-config 3
CAUTION The above command
reboots both SPs at the same
time.
