User Response: Make sure the minidisk is accessed with the file mode letter
specified for the device class defined with DEVTYPE=FILE FILEMODE=?. If the
file is in an SFS directory, make sure the SFS directory still exists and the server
user ID has been granted read/write authority to the directory and to the file named
command. If the volume status is read/write and the volume is not full, write access
is required. If the file does not exist, the server cannot use the volume. Storage
volumes should be deleted using the DELETE VOLUME command with
DISCARDDATA=YES. Volumes for IMPORT, LOAD or RESTORE DB cannot be
used.

Filemode or directory filemode or directory name cannot be used.
Explanation: The server determined that a minidisk with the file mode letter
filemode or that the SFS directory directory name were not available for use.
System Action: Server operation continues but file is not used.
User Response: Ensure that a minidisk is accessed with the file mode letter
filemode or that an SFS directory directory directory exists and that the server user
ID has been granted read/write authority to the directory and all files in that
directory.

FILE FILE name not deleted from system, return code return code.
Explanation: A volume associated with a device class defined with
DEVTYPE=FILE was deleted from the server, but the associated CMS file or MVS
data set FILE name could not be deleted.
System Action: Server operation continues. No other attempts will be made to
delete the volume from the system.
User Response: If the volume was created and never used, a CMS file or an MVS
dataset may not have been created and no action is required. If the CMS file or the
MVS dataset FILE name exists it will have to be deleted manually.

Error opening filespec.
Explanation: An error occurred while attempting an open operation.
System Action: Server processing continues.
User Response: Refer to the other displayed messages to determine why the open
operation failed. Correct the problem and restart the process.
