ANR5370E (S/390)
Invalid block header on device real address.
Explanation: During a read operation, the block header of the block read does not
contain data recognized by the server.
System Action: The server may place the volume in an I/O error state.
User Response: The integrity of the volume may have been compromised. Reset
the error condition with the UPDATE VOLUME command and attempt the
operation on a different tape drive. If the problem persists, try to audit the volume
by using the AUDIT VOLUME command to see if any files on the volume can be
recovered. If not, you can delete the volume with the DELETE VOLUME
command, by using the DISCARD=NO option.
If a LOADDB operation was being performed, specify the command syntax by
either using a ddname or by specifying a device class name. You must use the same
method that was used when the data base was originally dumped. Otherwise, this
error message is displayed. Try loading the data base by using the other method of
syntax (ddname). Also, verify that you specified the correct volume name. The
integrity of the volume may have been compromised. In this case, the volume
cannot be used by the LOADDB operation.
ANR5371E (S/390)
Request number: Volume volume ID data set name label dsn in HDR1 label
cannot be overwritten with DBBKUP data set name dbbkup dsn.
Explanation: During mount processing of a DBBKUP tape volume, the server
encountered a nonblank data set name in the HDR1 label. Normally, the server
writes the dbbkup dsn in this field.
System Action: The server dismounts the volume, detaches the device, and
requests the original volume again.
User Response: Most tape volume initialization programs only write VOL1 label.
If your tape volume initialization program also writes a HDR1 label, the data set
name in the HDR1 label must be blank. Be sure that the volume in question is the
proper tape volume, and reinitialize it with only a VOL1 label, or with a blank data
set name in the HDR1 label.
ANR5372I (S/390)
Request number: Volume volume ID data set name label dsn in HDR1 label will
be overwritten with DBBKUP data set name dbbkup dsn.
Explanation: During mount processing of a DBBKUP tape volume, the server
encountered a nonblank data set name in the HDR1 label. This data set name will
be overwritten with dbbkup dsn.
