condition with the UPDATE VOLUME command. This failure may be due to a
hardware problem. If the problem persists, use the DELETE VOLUME command
with the DISCARD=NO option to remove the volume from the storage pool.

Request number: Volume volume ID data set name ″label dsn″ in HDR1 label
cannot be overwritten with Export data set name ″export dsn″.
Explanation: During mount processing of an EXPORT tape volume, the server
encountered a nonblank data set name in the HDR1 label. Normally, the server
writes the export dsn in this field.
System Action: The server dismounts the volume, detaches the device, and
requests the original volume again.
User Response: Most tape volume initialization programs only write VOL1 label.
