ANR5107E (S/390)
Unable to initialize CLIO/S (IBM)TCP/IP driver - error binding acceptor
socket socket number (rc = code).
Explanation: The server’s TCP/IP communications driver detects an error while
attempting to bind the acceptor socket.
System Action: The server ends the TCP/IP acceptor process. Server operation
continues without support for the TCP/IP COMMmethod. The server tries to restart
the acceptor process periodically.
User Response: Check that TCP/IP is running and that TCPName, in the options
file, matches the name of the target TCP/IP address space.
ANR5108E (S/390)
The CLIO/S functions have not been linked into this module.
Explanation: The server cannot find the CLIO/S functions required to support
CLIO (IBM)TCP/IP communications.
System Action: The connection to the server fails.
User Response: The cause of this error is the omission of the required
post-SMP/E link-edit step to merge CLIO functions from
SYS1.SFCFLIB(FCFIADSM). Before retrying the operation, ensure that your
installation has performed the required post install link-edit step. Find the ADSM
SAMPLIB and use member ANRCLIOK for an example of the required
post-SMP/E link edit to load ANRSERV with CLIO/S communication code.
ANR5109E (S/390)
The CLIO/S communication driver cannot be started.
Explanation: The server is unable to start the CLIO/S communication driver
because either TCPPort and CLIOPort server options are the same value or
TCPName is coded with *NONE*.
System Action: The CLIO/S communication option will not be available and
server initialization continues.
User Response: Check the server options file to ensure CLIOPort and TCPPort
values are different. If the CLIOPort and TCPPort options are specified correctly,
check the TCPName option to ensure *NONE* is not coded for this option. Specify
a unique CLIOPort value and ensure a valid TCPName parameter is coded to allow
the (IBM)TCP/IP CLIO/S communication driver to start. CLIOPort has no default
value; however, TCPPort and TCPName default to 1500 and TCPIP respectively.
This message can be eliminated if CLIO/S communication is not required by
removing the CLIOPort option from the server option file and recycling the server.
