ANR5080I (S/390)
IUCV driver ready for connection with clients.
Explanation: The server’s IUCV communications driver is ready to receive
connection requests from clients.
System Action: Server operation continues. The IUCV is enabled.
User Response: None.
ANR5081E (S/390)
Unable to initialize IUCV driver - code code.
Explanation: The server’s IUCV communications driver cannot initialize itself
because it received the error code code when entering the IUCV DECLARE
BUFFER function.
System Action: Server initialization fails.
User Response: For a description of the reported error code, refer to the IUCV
documentation in the CP Programming Services publication for your specific
operating system, and the TCP/IP for MVS Programmer’s Reference for your
version of TCP/IP.
ANR5082W (S/390)
IUCV connection terminated - insufficient memory.
Explanation: An IUCV connection request is refused by the server’s IUCV
communications driver because sufficient memory is not available to construct a
session.
System Action: Server operation continues.
User Response: Allocate additional storage to the server virtual machine. There
are three ways to do this:
1. On VM, increase the size of the server’s virtual machine. This requires that the
default storage size be updated in the server’s CP directory entry.
2. On MVS, increase the size of the REGION parameter on the JOB or EXEC
statement of the JCL used to start the server.
3. Reduce the maximum number of client sessions permitted. To do this, edit the
server options file and reduce the value specified for the MAXSESSIONS
statement. Note that each client session causes an additional 64 KB of memory
to be allocated.
