14. A Mailbox Monitor can provide services to only the MWI Server
and Call Me Server that belong to its own voice mail domain.
Directory server
15. Each MAS must have a single directory server.
16. Each directory server can be a server of more than one MAS.
Offline Call Answer store
17. A voice mail domain can contain only one Offline Call Answer
store.
18. An Offline Call Answer store can provide services to only one
voice mail domain.
Multiple switches
19. A voice mail domain can serve multiple switches, provided all
the switches share a common dial plan.
20. A voice mail domain can serve a network of switches, provided
the administrator ensures that the network uses a single switch as
a gateway to the voice mail domain, and that the switches are
networked using a supported switch networking protocol.
21. The MWI Server connects to a single switch. That switch must be
able to light the MWI of any other switches associated with the
voice mail domain.
22. A single switch can support multiple voice mail domains.
Integration
23. A voice mail domain can support only a single integration type.
Multiple voice mail domains networking
24. A voice mail domain can be connected to only one Avaya
Message Networking server.
25. An Avaya Message Networking server can be connected to
multiple voice mail domains.
Message encoding
26. An MAS supports only one encoding format for recording
messages, either the G.711 or the GSM. The encoding format that
the MAS supports determines the encoding format that the voice
mail domain supports.
