address fax messages, they must ensure that the message is sent
directly to the MSS, using their Modular Messaging identity
(MM identity).

With Modular Messaging—Microsoft Exchange, subscribers using the
Client Add-in for Microsoft Outlook application can forward fax
messages addressed to ‘fax:nnnnnn’, where ‘nnnnnn’ is either the simple
or canonical number, depending on the configuration of the fax server and
the fax properties for the voice mail domain.
