Using the Remove Cartridge option
1. Make sure security is disabled (see page 60).
2. Change to LCD Interface control mode (see page 67).
3. From the Main Menu, select Maintenance Menu.
4. From the Maintenance Menu, select Remove Cartridge. The
following screen appears:
5. Press

to set the source element index (the index of
the slot or tape drive where the cartridge is located). For more
information about element indexes, see Appendix D.
6. Press
>(QWHU@
. The CHM moves the cartridge to the entry/exit
transport arm, and the transport arm extends to the entry/exit
port. The library displays a screen similar to the following (the
source index may be different):
7. Press down on the entry/exit port PUSH tab and remove the
cartridge (see the second figure on page 74).
