SRC INSIDE DRIVE. The CHM
could not successfully pick a
cartridge because it was still
loaded in the tape drive.
Press the tape drive eject button and wait for
the cartridge to be unloaded, or redirect the
CHM to another location.

PICK MECH. FAILURE. The
CHM could not successfully
pick from a full cartridge slot.
Open the door and look for anything that
might be obstructing the gripper.
Make sure the library and tape drives are not
being used by any host, then press
>5HVHW@ on
the operator panel. If the error persists,
contact your service provider.

GRIP HOM E ERROR. A gr ip per
error occurred.

GRIP MOTION TIMEOUT. A
gripper motion took longer
than the maximum time
allocated for it. When motion
functions do not complete in
the allocated time, the current
to the servo motors is shut off.

while trying to pick a cartridge

gripper could not open.

The CHM could not move
along the short axis.
Open the door and look for anything that

axis.
