[Copy/Import Functions] (Operation Details: page 62-63)
Disc duplication operations have been optimized by the provision a 4x high-speed (maximum) duplication
function.
In addition to recording from hard disk drive to DVD-R/RW media, an optional DVD-R/RW writer can be
added to allow duplication between DVD-R/RW discs or simultaneously from the hard drive to both writers.
DVD menu layout and DVD menu background image files can be imported to the template library using
a CD/DVD disc or an FTP connection from a computer connected to an online network.
Edit decision lists (EDL) can also be downloaded and imported via a CD/DVD disc or an FTP connection from
a computer connected to an online network.
Notes :
Only one image file at a time can remain on the hard drive. If a new image file is copied to the hard
drive, the previous image file will be overwritten.
Image files exceeding 4.7 GB cannot be copied to disc.
The time required for disc copying will differ depending on the source disc’s record and read performance.
Discs with copy-prohibited contents cannot be copied. When this unit is used to record copyrighted
material, the permission of each copyright holder and neighboring rights holder must be obtained. Failure to
obtain the permission of each rights holder can be punishable by law. Pioneer disclaims any and all
responsibility for any trouble arising between the user of this device and any such rights holders as the
result of recording of copyrighted materials.
