Descriptions
RECORD STANDBY (pause standby for recording)
RECORD (recording)
TRACK RECORD (assigns track number at any point while recording)
STOP
PLAY(playback)
PAUSE ON/OFF (pauses/cancels pauses)
CUE STANDBY (returns to the point where the play started and pauses)
CUE (scans forward or backward in fast playback)
NEXT/PREVIOUS (locates tracks ahead of or before the current point)
TRACK LOCATE (plays the specified track)
Sets the track order for program play (changes the track order to be played temporarily)
and sensing the contents of the setting.
Sets or clears the program play data (program area).
EJECT (ejects a disc)
Switches the analog/digital input.
Turns on/off the level sync for recording (marks track number according to the input signal
level variation).
TIMER PLAY (starts play automatically when the power is turned on)
AUTO PAUSE (pauses after playing each track)/AUTO CUE (locates the rising point of the
sound at the beginning of the tracks)
Sets the duration for the EOM function (outputs the status of the end of a track/disc).
Turns on or off the AUTO DISPLAY (displays the track title and time information
alternately).
Misoperation prevention mode (disables most of the buttons and controls on the MDS-B5).
Detects the model name and the software version.
Detects that the power is turned on .
Detects that the disc is inserted or not, the type of the disc (pre mastered or recordable),
and the record-protect slot is open or closed.
Detects the total number of tracks and the total disc playing time.
Detects the operation status (recording, playing, stopped, pausing, cueing, or disc has
been ejected).
Detects the current program number.
Detects that the next track is located during playing.
Detects the setting of the EOM function.
Detects that an error message is output.
Detects that a caution is output.
Detects that an illegal message is output.
