Equalizer curve
Vocal is a curve inwhich the midrange, which isthe
human vocal range,is boosted.
Flat is aflat curve in which nothingis boosted.
Custom1 is anadjusted equalizer curve that you cre-
ate. A separatecustom curve canbe created for each
source.
Custom2 is anadjusted equalizer curve that you cre-
ate. If youselect this curve, the effect isreflected all
AV source.
p When Flat is selected, no supplement or
correction is made to the sound. This is
useful to check the effect of the equalizer
curves by switching alternatively between
Flatand a set equalizer curve.
p You cannot select Custom1and Cus-
tom2when Auto EQis On.

1 Display the AV Sound Settings
screen.

2 Touch [EQ].
3 Touch the equalizer you want.
p If Auto EQ has been set toOn, an image
corresponding to each equalizer curve you
selected appears.

Customizing the equalizer curves
You can adjust the currently selected equalizer
curve setting as desired. Adjustments can be
made with a 8-band graphic equalizer.
p This function is not available when Auto
EQis On.

The difference between Custom1and
Custom2
! A separate Custom1curve can be cre-
ated for each source. If you make adjust-
ments when a curve S.Bass (Super Bass),
Powerful, Natural, Vocal, Flat,or
Custom1is selected, the equalizer curve
settings will be memorized in Custom1.
! ACustom2curve can be created com-
mon to all sources. If you make adjust-
ments when Custom2 curve is selected,
the Custom2 curve will be updated.
! The Custom1curve is applied to each of
the source selected, but you can apply the
same curve to the following sources.
AM and FM
EXT1 and EXT2
AV1 and AV2
CD, ROM, DVD-V, and DivX
SD and USB
p The different curve can be memorized
between iPod and USB.
