Setting for a timer recording

You cannot set a timer recording lot CD-R and CD-RW copying.
You can skip to step 3 in the lollowing procedure by pressing TIMER REC on the remote conlroh

1. Carry out steps 1 and 2 in "Recording input audio
source" (P.31).
For tile HDD recording mode (P.35), select one of "Manual"
(manual recording), "Track Synchro" (Irack-synchrenized
recording) or "Auto Period" (auto-period recording). Other
modes cannot be selected when timer recording is made.
2. Press and hold REC for approximately three seconds
(press TIMER REC on the remote control).
The folh)wing screen appears in the display.

3. Press K</<< or E>>/E>_(press <% _-, "_or _ on the
remote control) to switch between hour and minute,
then rotate the MULTI JOG knob (press +/-, or on
the remote control) to adjust the total recording time.
4. Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote
control) to confirm the total time of timer recording.
"Timer Standhy" appears on tile display.

5. Leave the power of this unit on.Turn off the power
of this unit by the external timer.
If tile power of this unit is turned on h> tile external timer,
"Timer Standby" flashes lot approximately five seconds. Then
recording starts according to the setting.
Once timer recording is set, recording starts every time the power of
this mill is lurned on. To cancel Ihe selting, press D while "Timer
Slandby" is flashing, or while recording is being made.
To cancel timer recording setting, press D.
