Connecting the Drive to Your Network
1. Select Getting Started.
2. Following the step on your screen or outlined in “Physically Connecting the
Drive” on page 11, connect your My Book Live device to your home or small
office network.
Note: Remove the sticker from the back of the unit prior to connecting your device.
Link up – 1000 Mbps Link Green Cable is plugged in, and both ends of the
link have successfully established
communications. Network negotiated at
1000 Mbps.
Link idle Activity Off Active communication is not in progress.
Link busy Activity Green - Blinks Active communication is in progress.
