Playing Back a Message at a
Desired Time with an Alarm

• If the alarm time comes while another message is
being played back with an alarm, the playback stops
and the new message will be played back.
• If the alarm time comes during recording, the alarm
will sound after the recording is finished. “,” will
flash when the alarm time comes.
• If more than one alarm time comes during
recording, only the first message will be played back.
• When the alarm time comes when the unit is in the
menu mode, alarm will sound and the menu mode
will be cancelled.
• If you erase the message you set the alarm for, the
alarm setting will be cancelled.
• If you add an index to the message you set the alarm
for, alarm setting remains on only the first part of
the divided message.
• If you erase the index on the message you set the
alarm for, the alarm setting will be cancelled.
• You can adjust the playback volume with the VOL
control.
• If the alarm time comes during erasing, the alarm
will sound after the erasing is finished.
• Alarm setting will not be cancelled when the alarm
playback finishes. To cancel alarm setting, see below.
To check the alarm setting
Follow steps 1 and 2 on page 30 after
selecting the alarm setting. The alarm date
and time will be displayed in the display
window.
To cancel the alarm setting or
change the alarm time
1Select the message you set the alarm for,
and press MENU button.
2Select “ALARM“ and press the jog lever.
3To cancel the alarm setting: Press the jog
lever up or down to select “OFF” and press
the jog lever.
To change the alarm date and time: Press
the jog lever.
When the alarm date is displayed, follow
steps 3 to 5 on pages 30 and 31 to change
the alarm date and time.
4Press MENU button.
Exit the menu mode.
