In case of difficulty
The BATT.ON/OFF switch is set to [OFF]: Slide it to [ON].
The built-in battery is exhausted: Connect the AC adaptor to recharge the battery.

The hold mode is set: Slide the HOLD switch to release the hold mode.

The player is connected to the PC: The operations performed on the player are defeated while it
is connected to a PC.
The battery is degraded: Replace it with new one.

There is no audio data stored in the player: Transfer audio data in the player using the
application software Kenwood Media Application or Windows Media Player.

The headphones are connected improperly: Check the connection of headphones to the player.

The volume is set to the minimum: Adjust the volume.

Resetting the player
The player may malfunction (impossibility of operation, erroneous display, etc.) after a connection cord is unplugged
during use or due to an external factor. If this happens, reset the player as described below.

Set the BATT. ON/OFF switch to [OFF], wait for about 5 seconds, and set the switch again to [ON].
When the BATT. ON/OFF switch is set to [OFF], the following setups are reset to the defaults.

POINT :
Even when the player is reset, the audio data in the built-in HDD is not deleted.
