Modification/check of setups

Press the multi-control (Left) button.
The Home view appears.
[SOUND MODE]:
The sound mode of the player can be selected.
[CUSTOM SOUND]:
A sound mode can be preset and registered as
[CUSTOM] preset data.
[TIMER SETTING]:
Either [SLEEP TIMER] or [ALARM TIMER] can be se-
lected.
[SLEEP TIMER] :The player turns OFF automatically af-
ter the set time has elapsed.
[ALARM TIMER]: The player generates an alarm sound
for 1 minute after the set time has elapsed. (When
[ALARM TIMER] is selected, the illumination LED is
turned off.)
[BRIGHTNESS]:
The display brightness can be set.
[LIGHTING TIME]:
When the Player has not been operated for the set
period of time, the LED automatically turns off and the
display dims and then extinguishes in 20 seconds after
the dimming.
[DISPLAY THEME]:
The displayed wallpaper can be selected.
[VISUALIZATION]:
The design of the Play view can be selected.
[FONT SHADE]:
The visibility of the displayed characters can be set.
[FONT STYLE]:
The size of the displayed characters can be selected.
[ILLUMINATION]:
Whether the illumination LED around each button is lit or
not can be selected.
[PLAY MODE]:
The playback mode of the player, such as repeat play-
back and random playback, can be selected.
[INTRO]:
The introduction part of every item of audio data is
played for the set period of time in sequence.
[AUTO PLAY]:
Whether or not playback starts automatically at power on
can be selected.
[NAVI. ICON]:
The operation guide can be displayed or hidden.
[BEEP]:
The beep tone can be generated or muted.
[LANGUAGE]:
The language used in Menu view and error messages
can be selected. (The language used in the Play view
and Library view is not affected by this selection.)
[TIME FORMAT]:
Whether the time is displayed in the 12-hour format or
24-hour format can be selected.
[DATE/TIME]: °
The date and time can be set in this item.
[RESET ALL SETTINGS]:
Resets the setups to the defaults (factory setups).
(Cannot be selected during playback.)
[SYSTEM INFO]:
The total storage capacity of the built-in HDD, the version
of the player and the [MODEL ID] can be displayed.

Select this item to update the firmware. (This item is
displayed only when the updating is possible.)
