This feature can be used to memorize a beginning point that you want to
review. And you can search it easily by rewinding or fast forwarding.
• Insert a prerecorded tape.
• If the counter is not displayed, the Counter Memory will not be
activated. Press SELECT button so that the counter appears on the
TV screen.
1 Stop the tape at your desired point
Rewind or fast forward the tape to the beginning point at which you want
to review.
2 Reset the counter to 0:00:00
Press COUNTER RESET button.
3 Select the Counter Memory mode
Press COUNTER MEMORY button so that "M" appears on the TV screen.

4 Begin recording or playback
Press REC or PLAY button.
Press STOP button when recording or playback is completed.
5 To activate the Counter Memory
Press REW (or F.FWD) button. The tape will automatically stop when the
counter returns to 0:00:00 (approx.).
TO EXIT THE COUNTER MEMORY
When the counter appears on the TV screen, press COUNTER MEMORY
button once and then the SELECT button twice so that the "M" and the
counter disappears from the TV screen.
TIME SEARCH
The Time Search function makes it possible to quickly advance the tape to
your desired position from any position by entering the exact amount of
playback time of the part you want to skip.
