select “FRONT HPF” under “SOUND”,
CENTER HPF” under “SOUND”, “SRD
HPF” under “SOUND”, and “SUB-W LPF
under “SOUND”.

Adjusting the delay time of
the speaker (CENTER-SP/
SRD-SP)
The timing when the sound of each speaker
reaches the listening position depends on your
speaker installation and the size of your car.
Adjust the delay time of each speaker so that
the sound of all speakers reaches the listening
position at the same time as the sound from the
front speakers.
The factory default setting is “0 ms”.
1. Press the [A] button to set to the adjust
mode.
2. Touch on the setting item display to
select “CENTER-SPunder “DELAYand
SRD-SPunder “DELAY”.

3. Touch on the right of the display to
adjust the delay time.
CENTER-SP” can be adjusted within the
range 0 ms to 5 ms.
SRD-SP” can be adjusted within the
range 0 ms to 15 ms.
4. Press the [A] button to return to the original
mode.
Adjusting the Dolby Digital
functions (D-RANGE)
This function compresses the dynamic range of
Dolby Digital to maintain low level sounds such
as actor conversation and suppress loud sound
volumes.
These functions are only available on Dolby
Digital DVD discs.
The factory default setting is “MAX”.
1. Press the [A] button to set to the adjust
mode.
2. Touch on the setting item display to
select “DOLBY D” under “D-RANGE”.

3. Touch on the right of the display to
adjust the dynamic range and adjust the
desired item.
MAX: maximum dynamic range mode of the
original source
STD: recommended mode for standard
listening
MIN: the most compressed dynamic range
mode that renders even low sounds easy to
hear.
4. Press the [A] button to return to the original
mode.
