Operations Common to Each Mode
∗ Select one of OFF (dimming OFF, bright),
1 (slightly dimmed) to 5 (dark).
4. Press the [A] button to return to the original

Adjusting the contrast of the
display (CONTRAST)
You can adjust the contrast of the display to
match the mounting angle of the unit.
• The factory default setting is “6”.
1. Press the [A] button to set to the adjust
mode.
2. Touch on the setting item display to
select “CONTRAST” under “APPERNCE”.

3. Either touch on the right of the
display, or turn the [ROTARY] knob to adjust
the contrast.
* This setting item can be adjusted within
the range 1 to 11.
Adjust this setting item while viewing how
the appearance of the display changes.
4. Press the [A] button to return to the original
mode.
Making the LED blink when
DCP is removed (BLINK LED)
You can make the LED on this unit blink when
the DCP is removed.
• The factory default setting is “OFF”.
1. Press the [A] button to set to the adjust
mode.
2. Touch on the setting item display to
select “BLINK LED” under “APPERNCE”.

Setting the beep for when
buttons are operated (BEEP)
The short or long high-pitched tone you hear
when a button is operated is called a “BEEP”.
• The factory default setting is “ON”.
1. Press the [A] button to set to the adjust
mode.
2. Touch on the setting item display to
select “BEEP” under “APPERNCE”.

display, or turn the [ROTARY] knob to select
“ON” or “OFF”.
4. Press the [A] button to return to the original

Selecting each mode
This item cannot be selected when the Dolby
Pro Logic II is set to “MUSIC” or “MATRIX” (cf.
page 17).
• The factory default setting is “PRO” for AC-
PROIII and “P.EQ” for EQ SELECT.
■ AC-PROIII
When “STD” (standard mode) is selected, the
sound quality and field can be adjusted by VSE
(Virtual Space Enhancer) so that the same
audio effect can be obtained whichever seat you
are sitting in.
When “PRO” (PRO mode) is selected, the
sound quality and field can be adjusted in detail
for each seating position.
■ EQ SELECT
When “P.EQ” (equalizer mode) is selected, the
entire frequency level range can be
compensated by a detailed smooth curve.
When “BAS/TREB” (bass/treble mode) is
selected, the frequency level can be
compensated by dividing it into 2 major levels,
bass (low tones) and treble (high tones).
