Play Mode—Repeat and Shuffle
This mode lets you set how the BF-1 plays back songs—at random or in order,
and whether a song or songs will be repeated. Repeat and Shuffle playback
can be used together as well.
n
If you select a song from the Artist/Album menu (page 55) or Playlists menu (page 57), the repeat
and/or shuffle setting is in effect only for the selected album/playlist.
1 From the Music Settings menu, select the Play Mode menu.
2 Select the desired setting for Repeat and/or Shuffle using the ▲/▼
(Up/Down) buttons.
■ Repeat
When this is set to All, all of the songs will be played back in order and
then repeated indefinitely. The Repeat All icon ( ) is also shown at the
top of the display. When this is set to Song, the selected song will be
repeated indefinitely. The Repeat One icon ( ) is also shown at the top
of the display.
Available settings:
Off, All, Song
■ Shuffle
When this is set to On, all songs will be played back at random. The
Shuffle icon ( ) is also shown at the top of the display.
Available settings:
Off, On
When Repeat is set to All and Shuffle is set to On, all songs will be played
back in random order and then repeated indefinitely.
Bass Boost
This is an additional equalizer control which produces rich, deep bass tones for
a more powerful overall sound, and helps compensate for outside noises that
may be interfering with the music.
n
When you change the Bass Boost setting while a song is playing in the Music Playback mode, the
highlighted setting will take effect for the currently played song and you can hear each Bass Boost
setting as you select it.
From the Music Settings menu, select the Bass Boost parameter.
Available settings:
Off, Low, Mid, High
