Information
You can check the version of your BF-1. If your version is not current, you can
download the latest version from the website and update the device (page 53).
From the Top Menu, select Settings Information.
The version information is displayed.
Initialize
This operation restores the factory default settings of the BF-1. Keep in mind
that it automatically replaces any settings you’ve made yourself with the original
settings that were on the device when you purchased it. It clears all data from
the BF-1—including your exercise logs, user songs and any personal
information—and performs a complete factory reset. Be careful not to use this
function unless you are sure you want to erase your custom settings and data.
Do not confuse this operation with pressing the [RESET] switch (page 11).
Pressing the [RESET] switch only reboots the BF-1 (for example, to turn the
device on again if normal operation “freezes”) and leaves your exercise logs,
songs and all other data intact.
CAUTION
Before initializing, transfer any important data (exercise log and/or training program) to
the BODiBEAT Station software.
1 From the Top Menu, select Settings Initialize.
A prompt message appears in the display.
2 Select “Yes” to execute the Initialize operation, or select “No” to
cancel.
When the initialization is complete, the BF-1 will be restarted.
