Using the remote
Press REPEAT repeatedly to select the item.
If the player is stopped, press H to start
Repeat Play.
z You can also display the Control Menu by
pressing DISPLAY. Use X/x instead of v/V.
To return to normal play
While pressing SHIFT, press VOL –
(CLEAR on the remote), or select “OFF” in
Step 3.
Repeating a specific portion (A-B
Repeat Play)
You can play a specific portion of a title,
chapter, or track repeatedly. (This function is
useful when you want to memorize lyrics,
etc.)

1 While pressing SHIFT, press V twice
during playback.
The Control Menu is displayed.
2 Press v/V to select (A-B
REPEAT), then press ENTER.
The options for “A-B REPEAT” appear.
3 Press v/V to select “SETt,” then
press ENTER.
The “A-B REPEAT” setting display
appears.
4 Find the starting point (point A) of the
portion to be played repeatedly, then
press ENTER.
The starting point (point A) is set.
5 Find the ending point (point B), then
press ENTER.
The set points are displayed and the
player starts repeating this specific
portion.
Slow-motion play or One-frame play
(monitor unit only) (page 34) is
convenient when you find points A and
B.
