Recording
A file can be split during recording.
When a file is split, playback can start from the split location.
When carrying out long recordings, you may find it convenient to split the file at places
that will need to be located later.

Start recording.

Press the [SPLIT Button].
The file is split at the location where the button is pressed.

Finish the recording.
• In rare cases, the recording may be interrupted due to the specifications of the memory card.
• Although there won’t be any interruptions in the recording, when carrying out playback on the
R-09HR, the files before and after cannot be played without interruptions (gapless recording).
• File splitting becomes possible after a file has more than two seconds of recording. File splitting
cannot be performed on an interval of less than two seconds.
• The sound of the button clicking may be recorded when a file is split by pressing the button on
the R-09HR unit while recording with the internal microphone. Please use the remote control in
such situations.
