HOW TO OPERATE YOUR TV OR CABLE CONVERTER BY USING THE REMOTE CONTROL UNIT
This remote control unit is designed to operate 13 different types of TV's and 7 different types of cable
converters. You must first program the remote control unit to match the remote system in your TV or
cable converter.
Programming the remote control for TV set
1. Install the batteries in the remote control unit.
2. Turn on your TV.
3. Point remote control unit toward front of your TV.
4. While holding TV button down, press 0 through 9, CHANNEL (
), ( ), 100/ENT and LAST CH
button (one at a time). The TV will change channels when the matching number button is pressed.
5. Release both buttons when the TV starts changing channels. The other remote buttons shown on next
page will now control your TV.
Programming the Remote Control for Cable Converter
1. Install the batteries in the remote control unit.
2. Turn on your Cable Converter.
3. Point the remote control unit toward front of your Cable Converter.
4. While holding CATV button down, press 1 through 8 button (one at a time). The Cable Converter will
change channels when the matching number button is pressed.
5. Release both buttons when the Cable Converter starts changing channels. The other remote buttons
shown on next page will now control your Cable Converter.
Notes:
• If your TV or Cable Converter does not respond to any of the above procedures, the TV or Cable Converter
cannot be controlled by this remote control unit.
• You will only have to program your remote control to match your TV or Cable Converter once. It will
remember what codes matchs your TV or Cable Converter until you replace the batteries.
• Whenever you install or replace the batteries in the remote control, you must program the remote control to
