Display during easy editing
• The play VTR starts play 10 seconds in front of the programmed start point. "EXECUTE" flashes on and
off for a few seconds before start and then it goes out.
Cautions during program easy editing
• When editing starts, the playback VCR starts playing at a point slightly before the start of the program. This
is why something should always be recorded about 30 seconds before the start point. (No signals have to be
input, all that is needed is to press the REC button.)
• Editing may operate incorrectly if there is an unrecorded section between the start point and a point about
30 seconds in front of it, or if the recording speed switches.
• Some VCR models for recording will stop if they are left in record pause mode for five minutes. Do not hold
a VCR in record pause for five minutes.
