15. CLOCK DISPLAY
Shows the clock and tape counter.
16. STEREO INDICATOR
Lights when receiving a stereo broadcast.
17. TIMER INDICATOR
Will light when turning power off after programming.
18. LEVEL METER
Shows the input level of each audio channel during recording and the recorded levels during playback.
However, when a tape on which normal (linear) sound was recorded is played back, the "L" and "R"
indications disappear from the display.
19. CHANNEL INDICATOR
Normally shows the channel number.
"L" lights when you select the LINE position by pressing the AVX button or CHANNEL select button. LINE
position is used to record or watch the program input at the VIDEO IN and AUDIO IN.
20. VCR MODE INDICATOR
appears during recording.
appears during the rewind mode.
appears during the fast-forward mode.
appears during the playback.
appears when the PAUSE button is pressed during record or play mode and disappears when the
PAUSE button is pressed again.
appears during slow-motion play using the shuttle ring.
21. SAP INDICATOR
Some TV stations transmit a "Second Audio Program" (SAP). The SAP is normally used for a second
language.
This indicator lights when the VCR is tuned to SAP broadcast.

Appears when the VCR is turned on or the VCR is in the playback mode.
