Note: Make sure the recording VCR is in the line mode.
4. Press the PAUSE button on the playback VCR to start copying the tape. Both VCR's will start together.
5. Press the PAUSE button again when you want to stop copying the tape. Both VCR's will enter the
pause mode.
Note: If the next segment you want to copy is located farther away on the tape, use the F.FWD (fast forward),
REWIND, or PLAY button on the playback VCR to locate the place on the tape you want to begin copying
again. Then place the playback VCR in the play-pause mode. Press the PAUSE button again and both VCR's
will begin copying.
6. Press the STOP buttons on both VCR's when you are finished.

If the part to be edited has been programmed, the playback VCR automatically controls the record VCR
for editing.

Cautions:
• When connecting cables, turn the power off on all units.
• When only one TV set is used, connect it to the record VCR.
• Set the remote control code of the playback VCR (this VCR) to [VCR1] for program easy editing (refer to
page 22). If the record timing drifts with the [VCR1] setting, set it to [VCR2].
