RECORDING FROM ANOTHER VCR
Recording from another VCR hookup illustration
1. Connect Video Out/Audio Out of VCR1 to Video In/Audio In of VCR2.
2. Press the AVX button of VCR2 so as to have L1 (Line 1) indicator lights in the display.
3. Play the tape in VCR1 and record it with VCR2.
NOTE: If you connect the OUT TO TV connector of VCR2 to the TV's ANT connector, as illustrated and press
the "VCR/TV" selector to turn the "VCR" indication on, the picture being dubbed by VCR2 can be monitored.
RECORDING FROM A VIDEO CAMERA/RECORDER
If you wish to exchange or copy some of your friend's favorite home recordings, the following instructions
can be used to connect camera/recorder to VCR for this purpose.

1. Connect the AV stereo output cord to AV In/Out of your camera/recorder.
2. Connect the other ends to AUDIO IN, VIDEO IN of your VCR respectively.
3. Press the AVX button on the remote control so the L1 (Line 1) indicator lights in the display
Note: If your camera/recorder has a single (mono) audio output, connect it to the AUDIO IN L/MONO input of
the VCR.
4. Play the tape on the camera/recorder and record it on the VCR.
NOTE: If you connect the OUT TO TV connector of the VCR to the TV's ANT connector, as illustrated and
press the VCR/TV selector of the VCR to turn the "VCR" indication on, the picture being dubbed by VCR can
be monitored.
