Anykey answer—Enable the brief press of any key except the right selection
or end key to answer a call.
Automatic redial—Set your phone to make a maximum of 10 attempts to connect
the call after an unsuccessful call attempt.
Speed dialing—Activate speed dialing. To set up speed dialing, see "Speed dialing,"
p. 19. To dial, press and hold the corresponding number key.
Auto-service update (network service)—Set your phone to automatically receive
updates from your network that may improve service and coverage.
International prefix (network service) —Store an international prefix into your phone.
When you enter + at the beginning of a phone number, your phone automatically
inserts the international prefix (for example, 001) that you stored.
Call summary—Display the time spent on a call when you hang up.
Show call time displ.—Display the call time during a phone call.
Ringtone no caller ID—Select a different ringing tone for calls received without
caller ID.
Phone
Select Menu > Settings > Phone and from the following options:
Phone language—Set the language of the display text seen on the phone.
Automatic keyguard—Set the keyguard to lock automatically after a specified
delay time.
Navigation key (network service)—Set the features that are activated when you
press the scroll key.
Touch tones—Change the tones that sound when you press the keys on your phone
keypad. You can use Touch tones for many automated dial-up services such as
banking and airlines or for entering your voice mailbox number and password.
Start-up tone—Activate the tone sounds when you turn on your phone.
Help text activation—Display brief descriptions of most menu items. When you arrive
at a feature or menu, pause for about 15 seconds and wait for the help text to display.
Phone details—View the user, version, system, and icon details.
Network
To customize the way your phone chooses a network in which to operate while you
are within or outside of your primary or home system, select Menu > Settings >
Network and one of the following options (based on your service provider’s network):
Roaming options—Select which roaming options you wish to use.
Mode—Select whether your phone will use digital or analog service.
