12. Settings
■ Profiles
Your phone has various setting groups, called profiles, for which you can customize
the phone tones for different event and environments.
Select Menu > Settings > Profiles. Scroll to a profile, and select it.
To activate the selected profile, select Activate.
To set the profile to be active until a certain time up to 24 hours, select Timed
and set the time to the profile setting shall end. When the time set for the profile
expires, the previous profile what was not timed, becomes active.
To personalize profile, select Customize. Select the setting you want to change,
and make the changes.
■ Display
The display contains many elements for personalizing your phone, such as wallpaper,
screen saver, and color scheme. Select Menu > Settings > Display and an option.
Note: Power saver is automatically activated following screen saver
time-out to optimize battery life.
Display settings
You can change the display settings on your phone. Select Menu > Settings >
Display > Display settings and one of the following options:
Wallpaper—Set an image or a folder of images (Slide set) as a wallpaper for the
phone display.
Screen saver—Choose a screen saver for the phone display.
Sleep mode—Turn the phone display off during inactivity.
My banner—Change the banner text.
Backlight time-out—Control the time-out of the backlight on your phone.
Standby font color—Set the font color of your phone when in standby mode.
Themes
Themes allows you to personalize the ringtone, screen saver and background
on your phone. Select Menu > Settings > Display > Themes > Select theme.
A list of folders in My Stuff opens. Open the Themes folder, and select a theme.
