This feature allows you to:
– use a Bluetooth device to play music
through the base unit’s speaker.
– use the handset as a remote control when
playing music from a Bluetooth device
through the base unit’s speaker.
Important:
R This feature is compatible with Bluetooth
devices that support the Advanced Audio
Distribution Profile (A2DP) specification,
including iPhone and Android
™
devices.
R Your Bluetooth device must support the
Audio Video Remote Control Profile
(AVRCP ver 1.3 or later) specification to
allow the handset to display music
information.
R You must select a Bluetooth device to be
used with this feature beforehand
(page 48).

You can select 1 Bluetooth device to be used
to play music through the base unit’s speaker.
Important:
R Your Bluetooth device must support music

app to play music.

Adjust the speaker volume by pressing
MjN or MkN.
Note:
R If the unit is not selected as your Bluetooth
device’s audio output device, change the
setting.
R Refer to the instructions provided with your
Bluetooth device as needed.
R If the base unit and Bluetooth device are
not connected, you cannot play music
through the base unit’s speaker. Operate
the Bluetooth device or press M

on the
base unit and wait for a few seconds for the
base unit and Bluetooth device to connect,
then repeat from step 1.
R While using the handset as a remote
control, information such as the song title is
displayed on the handset. Unsupported
characters are displayed as G. Depending
on the audio file and media app, this
information may not be displayed. If the
information is too long to be displayed by
the handset, the handset may not be able
to display all of the information.
R When you are finished listening to music,
use your Bluetooth device to stop playback.
R Depending on the media player app, music
may not be heard through your Bluetooth
