One-touch recording

The one-touch recording can record all tracks in a CD with a one-touch operation (all-track recording).
It can also record the current CD track being played from the beginning (single-track recording).
Simultaneous recording onto MD and TAPE is not available.

1 Insert a recordable disc into the MD recorder.
2 Insert disc in the CD player.
Make the preparations for recording.
1 Perform steps 1 to 3 of the procedure in
”Recording on TAPE”. º
2 Insert disc in the CD player.

Check the current play mode of the CD player.
Start recording.
To interrupt a recording
(Recording and playback will be
stopped.)
At the end of the recording
CD player : After one-touch all-track recording
\Stop.
After one-touch single-track record-
ing
\Pause.
MD recorder : Stop is executed and “WRITING” is
displayed.
Cassette deck : Stop is executed after an unre-
corded portion of about 4 sec. has
been produced.
The “WRITING” display indicates that the recorded
and edited data are written in the MD. Be careful not
to apply impact to the unit during it.
If the power cord is unplugged before completion of
“WRITING”, the recorded and/or edited data may be
lost.
Be sure to put the MD recorder and cassette deck in stop mode
÷ When starting recording from the remote control unit, make sure not to mistake the MD O.T.E. key and TAPE O.T.E. key.
÷ When the MD O.T.E. or TAPE O.T.E. key is pressed for ”One-touch recording (single-track recording)”, the CD track
being played is replayed from the beginning and recording start at the same time.
÷ Similar recording is also possible from the main unit by selecting “REC MODE” after pressing the MENU key.

÷ To record other tracks using ”one-touch recording (single-track recording)”, repeat steps 2 and 3 for each track.
÷ During CD random playback, one touch recording will not operate.
