3 Select the Counter Memory mode
Press COUNTER MEMORY button on the remote control so that "M" appears on the TV
screen.

4 Begin recording or playback
Press RECORD or PLAY button.
Press STOP button when recording or playback is completed.
5 To activate the Counter Memory
Press DISPLAY button on the remote control so that the counter appears on the TV
screen.
Press REW (or F.FWD) button. The tape will automatically stop when the counter
returns to 0:00:00 (approx.)
NOTE:
If the counter is not displayed, the Counter Memory will not be activated.
TO EXIT THE COUNTER MEMORY
When the counter appears on the TV screen, press COUNTER MEMORY button on the
remote control once and then press DISPLAY button on the remote control twice so that
the "M" and the counter disappears from the TV screen.

Make sure...
• You must use the remote control for the following procedure.
• VCR power must be turned on.
• Turn on the TV and set the TV channel to the same video output channel as located
on the back of the VCR. (CH 3 or 4)
• Press VCR/TV button on the remote control so that the "VCR" indicator appears on the
display.
