9. Type exactly the 22-digit Head ID you made a note of. If you type a
wrong ID, the program automatically calculates and detects it. The
screen returns to the ID input screen. The following screen shows
the process the program takes for a wrong ID. In this screen, press
Enter, and the screen returns to the Head ID Input Screen (Figure
5-8).

10. When the 22-digit ID has been correctly input, the following 3
screens appear in sequence as shown in Figure 5-12, and the ID is
registered in the printer’s RAM. (Though the screen messages
indicate that the ID has been input in the EEPROM, it is actually
written into the EEPROM when the printer is turned off.)
11. Press ESC key twice. The screen returns to the sub adjustment
menu screen to continue to the next adjustment.
