5.2 Adjustments
This section describes the procedure for each adjustment. Be sure to
observe the CAUTION and tables in Section 5.1.1 before starting
adjustments.
5.2.1 Preliminary Operation
Perform the preliminary operation, which is required prior to actual
adjustment operation, by following the steps below.
1. Connect the PC and printer with PRIF4.
2. Turn the printer on.
3. Launch the service program (SC900.EXE) attached to the service
manual for the Stylus Color 900.
4. The following screen appears.

5. If the indicated model name is Stylus Color 900 only, press Enter
key.
NOTE:
If we OEM this product in future, there will be a possibility that
more model names are added to the option. In this case, be sure
to select the model name you are dealing with correctly.
The command required to write adjustment value for each
adjustment includes a model-unique parameter, which is called
R-code. The purpose of selecting the model name is to define
the parameter which is specific to the model.
6. The following screen appears.

7. From the option in screen (Figure 5-2), select the destination which
applies to the model on which you are making adjustments, then
press Enter.
