Useonlywithacart,stand,tripod,bracket,ortable
recommendedbythemanufacturer,orsoldwiththe
appliances.Anymountingoftheappliancesshould
followthemanufacturer’sinstructions,andshoulduse
mountingaccessoriesrecommendedbythemanufacturer.
9. V entilation.Slotsandopeningsinthecabinetareprovided
forventilationandtoensurereliableoperationofthe
appliancesandtoprotectthemfromoverheating,and
theseopeningsmustnotbeblockedorcovered.The
openingsshouldneverbeblockedbyplacingtheproducts
onabed,sofa,rug,orothersimilarsurface.Thisproduct
shouldneverbeplacednearoroveraradiatororheat
register.Thisproductshouldnotbeplacedinabuilt-in
installationsuchasabookcaseorrackunlessproper
ventilationisprovidedorthemanufacturer’sinstructions
havebeenadheredto.
10. PowerSources.Thisproductshouldbeoperatedonly
fromthetypeofpowersourceindicatedonthemarking
labels.Ifyouarenotsureofthetypeofpowersupply
toyourhome,consultyourappliancedealerorlocal
powercompany.
11. GroundingorPolarization.Thisproductisequippedwith
polarizedalternating-currentlineplugs(plugshaving
onebladewiderthantheother).Thisplugwillfitinto
thepoweroutletonlyoneway .Thisisasafetyfeature.
Ifyouareunabletoinserttheplugfullyintotheoutlet,
tryreversingtheplug.Iftheplugshouldstillfailtofit,
contactyourelectriciantoreplaceyourobsoleteoutlet.
Donotdefeatthesafetypurposeofthepolarizedplug.
12. PowerCordProtection.Power-supplycordshouldbe
routedsothatitisnotlikelytobewalkedonorpinched
byitemsplaceduponoragainstit,payingparticular
attentiontocordsatplugs,conveniencereceptacles,

13. Lightning.Foraddedprotectionforthisaudio/video

attendedandunusedforlongperiodsoftime,unplugit

locatedinthevicinityofover-headpowerlinesorother

suchpowerlinesorcircuits.Wheninstallinganoutside
antennasystem,extremecareshouldbetakentokeep
fromtouchingsuchpowerlinesorcircuitsascontact
withthemmightbefatal.
15. Overloading.Donotoverloadwalloutletsandextension
cordsasthiscanresultinariskoffireorelectricshock.
16. ObjectandLiquidEntry.Neverpushobjectsofanykind
intothisproductthroughopenings,astheymaytouch
dangerousvoltagepointsorshortoutpartsthatcould
resultinafireorelectricshock.Neverspillliquidof
anykindonthisaudio/videoproduct.
17. Servicing.Donotattempttoservicethisproduct
yourself,asopeningorremovingcoversmayexpose
youtodangerousvoltageorotherhazards.Refer
allservicingtoqualifiedservicepersonnel.
18. DamageRequiringService.Unplugthisproductfrom
walloutletsandreferservicingtoqualifiedservice
personnelunderthefollowingconditions:

indamageandwilloftenrequireextensiveworkby
aqualifiedtechniciantorestoretheproducttoits
normaloperation.
e. Iftheproducthasb eendroppedorthecabinet
hasbeendamaged.
f. Whentheproductexhibitsadistinct changein
performance—thisindicatesaneedforservice.
19. ReplacementParts.Whenreplacementpartsare
required,besuretheservicetechnicianhasused
replacementpartsspecifiedbythemanufacturerorthat
thepartshavethesamecharacteristicsastheoriginal
part.Unauthorizedsubstitutionsmayresultinfire,
electricshockorotherhazards.
20. SafetyCheck.Uponcompletionofanyserviceorrepairs
tothisproduct,asktheservicetechniciantoperform
safetycheckstodeterminethattheproductsarein
properoperatingcondition.
21. CartsandStands.Theappliancesshould
beusedonlywithacartorstandthatis
recommendedbythemanufacturer.An
applianceandcartcombinationshouldbe
movedwithcare.Quickstops,excessive
force,andunevensurfacesmaycausetheappliance
andcartcombinationtooverturn.Usecautionwhen
movingthecart/apparatuscombinationtoavoid
injuryfromtip-over.
22. Thisproductisnotintendedforuseoutdoors.
