To use fast forward and fast reverse
1 While a disc is playing, press FWD

fast reverse.
• Initially, the fast forward or fast reverse operation is performed at a
relatively slow speed. With a DVD (but not an audio CD or video CD),
you can press FWD

REV again to increase the speed.

2 Press ûPLAY to resume normal play.
• You may not be able to use these operations with some discs.
• With a DVD, you cannot fast forward or fast reverse from one title to another.
Normal play resumes when the beginning of a title is reached.
• Audio and subtitles are not played while fast forwarding or fast reversing with a
DVD or video CD.
To use slow motion (DVD only)
1 While a disc is playing, press SLOW.
2 To cancel slow motion and return to normal play, press ûPLAY.
• You may not be able to use slow motion with some discs.
• Slow motion cannot be used with video CDs or audio CDs.
