MPEG OUT setting
Simultaneous output of an analogue and digital audio signal is not possible for the
AUDIO/DIGITAL OUT (OPTICAL) when playing MPEG 5.1 channel software. As a
result, 2-channel analogue output will not be possible at the time of digital 5.1
channel output. To this end, it will be necessary to set either a digital output of the
MPEG audio or an analogue output using MPEG OUT on the DVD SET UP screen.
1 Use ' and " to select “MPEG OUT”.
2 Use \ and | to select the setting you
want, and then press ENTER.
TV setting: Set this when using the analogue output of the MPEG
audio (e.g., TV 2-channel stereo).
AMP setting: Set this when using MPEG multiplex audio with a digital
connection to the amplifier. (The 2-channel analogue
output is not possible at this time)
3 Press ENTER to exit the setup procedure. The startup screen then appears.
