Timer
Recording
(HDD deck only)
REC LINK enables the unit to record automatically from the
external equipment with timer function.
In REC LINK mode, when the signals come into the unit from
the external equipment, the unit automatically turns on and
starts recording on HDD deck.
PREPARE THE EXTERNAL
EQUIPMENT FOR TIMER
RECORDING

After timer recording is set, turn off the external
equipment connected to the unit.
ENGAGE REC LINK MODE

Press REC LINK for about two seconds. The REC LINK
button lights up.
● While the signals are coming into the unit, the REC
LINK button is blinking.
● If you want to change the recording speed, press
REC SPEED on the remote control before pressing
REC LINK.
To cancel REC LINK mode, press REC LINK again.
NOTES:
●
You need to connect the external equipment with AUX L-1
terminals on the rear panel.
●
When the recorder is in REC LINK mode, the recorder
changes the deck into VHS deck automatically. In this case,
you cannot use HDD deck until the REC LINK mode is
canceled.
