TIMER RECORDING (cont.)
You can directly program the recorders timer to record up to 16
shows each on the HDD and VHS decks, as far as a year in
advance. Remember, the clock must be set before you can
program the timer ( pg. 10 or 12).
Express Timer
Programming
Turn on the TV and select the AV mode.
TURN ON THE UNIT

Press POWER.
ACCESS PROGRAM
SCREEN

Press PROG. on the
remote control. The
program screen appears.
If you do not set the
clock, the message
and the Initial Set
screen will appear.
If you have already
reserved 16 programs, the message and the program
check screen will appear.
If you want to reset this reservation during this
procedure, move the arrow to CANCEL by pressing
@# (or 23), then press OK.
If you want to cancel this reservation, press PROG..
SELECT THE DECK TO BE
RECORDED ON

Press HDD or VHS (or S-VHS).
If you select VHS deck, load the cassette for
recording.
SET PROGRAM DATE

Press DATE +/. (The current date is displayed on
screen. The date you enter appears in its place.)
If the date of the next year appears, press DATE +.
SET PROGRAM START TIME

Press START +/ to enter the time you want recording
to start.
Press and hold START +/ to move in 30-minute
increments, or press and release repeatedly to move 1
minute at a time.
SET PROGRAM STOP TIME

Press STOP +/ to enter the time you want recording to
stop.
Press and hold STOP +/ to move in 30-minute
increments, or press and release repeatedly to move 1
minute at a time.
