ATTENTION
● In the high-speed search, still, slow motion or frame-by-
frame playback mode, the picture will be distorted, and
there will be a loss of color.
● When normal playback resumes from search, still, slow
motion or frame-by-frame playback, the picture may
jitter vertically momentarily depending on the type of TV
being used.

Press PAUSE repeatedly to advance one frame at a time.
OR
Press PAUSE for two seconds to start frame-by-frame
playback.
To resume normal playback, press PLAY.

For hands-free slow-motion, press PAUSE during
playback (or time-shift playback).

Press ¢ (or 3) for forward slow-motion, or 4 (or 2)
for reverse slow-motion.

Press ¢ (or 3) or 4 (or 2) repeatedly. The slow-
motion speed changes in three steps for each direction.
To resume normal playback, press PLAY.
ACTIVATE HIGH-SPEED
SEARCH

During playback (or Live Memory Playback), press FF
for forward high-speed search, or REW for reverse high-
speed search.
● The search speed is 11 times normal playback speed
with SP recordings, and 31 times with EP recordings.
To resume normal playback, press PLAY.

For short searches, during playback or still, press and hold FF,
REW. When released, normal playback resumes.
