Compaq SLR Tape Drive User Guide
If you wish to save the System Event Log, use the following procedure:
1. Select the Log drop-down menu from the Event Viewer.
2. Select System.
3. Select Save As from the Log drop-down menu.
4. Enter a filename with a .EVT extension.
5. Select OK.
Verifying the software drivers
To verify that the appropriate software drivers have been installed, use the
following procedure:
1. To verify that the software driver for the SCSI controller has been
installed, use one of these methods:
❏ Run the Microsoft Windows NT setup program
❏ Use the Devices control panel applet
❏ Use the Tape Devices icon on the control panel
2. If required, reinstall the software driver for the SCSI controller.
3. To verify that the software driver for the Compaq SLR Drive has been
installed, use one of these methods:
❏ Run the Microsoft Windows NT setup program
❏ Use the Devices control panel applet
❏ Use the Tape Devices icon on the control panel
4. If required, reinstall the software driver for the Compaq SLR Drive.
