The Cisco ONS 15327 Troubleshooting Guide provides troubleshooting procedures for SONET alarms
and error messages and provides symptoms and solutions for general troubleshooting problems with
CTC and hardware. This guide also contains hardware replacement procedures. Use this document in

Audience
To use this publication, you should be familiar with Cisco or equivalent optical transmission hardware
and cabling, telecommunications hardware and cabling, electronic circuitry and wiring practices, and
preferably have experience as a telecommunications technician.
