Basic Operation
This chapter describes the basic operation which is available in
every mode.

Press the Standby/On button (
) to turn the unit on.
< The unit turns on with the source that was last selected.

Press the MODE button repeatedly to select a source.
The selected source is shown on the display.
Each time the MODE button is pressed, the source changes as
follows:
Internet radio
Music player
FM radio
iPod
Aux in
Pandora
< You can also use the FUNCTION buttons (
˙
/
¥
) on the
remote control unit to select a source.

Play the source, and adjust the volume using the
Volume button (
or ).
The volume can be adjusted from Muted (00) to Max (20).
To reduce or turn up the volume continuously, hold down the
Volume button (
or ).
< Press the Standby/On button (
) to put the unit in the
standby mode when it is not being used.
Dimmer
You can change the brightness of the display.
Use the DIMMER button ( ) to set the brightness one of three
levels.
Full brightness
Medium brightness
Minimum brightness
< Setting is cancelled if the Standby/On button ( ) is pressed.
Muting
You can mute the sound temporarily.
To mute the sound, press the Muting button ( ).
Press the Muting button (
) again to restore the sound.
< The Muting indicator (
) appears on the display while muting is
engaged.
< If you change the volume when the sound is muted, it will be
unmuted.
