Error message Cause/Remedy
CANNOT OPERATE If the selected le is an LPCM le or an MP3 le, you cannot
add priority marks or bookmarks. If the selected le is a WMA
le, you cannot add priority marks or bookmarks, divide a
message, add a recording, or overwrite a recording.

” is displayed for the folder indicator, you cannot
add priority marks or bookmarks, divide a message, add a
recording, or overwrite a recording.
You cannot move a message or divide a message, because
there is more than one folder that has les with same name.
Change the le names.
INVALID IN MANUAL
SETTING
“REC LEVEL” in the menu is set to “MANUAL.” The VOR function
does not work and you cannot set the microphone sensitivity.
MANUAL SETTING ONLY “REC LEVEL” in the menu is not set to “MANUAL.” The LIMITER
function does not work.
FULL SETTING You can set up to 30 alarms. Cancel unwanted alarms.
NEW TRACK When the recording message/music le size exceeds the
maximum size limit (1GB for MP3 or LPEC les, 2 GB for LPCM
les), exceeded recording is recorded as a new message.
CHANGE FOLDER If there are no les in the folder, no folders are displayed
in the display window, therefore, the folder setting will be
changed.
INVALID IN [NOISE CUT] ON When the NOISE CUT switch is set to “ON,” the setting of the
EFFECT menu does not work.
SYSTEM ERROR A system error other than the above has occurred. Remove the
batteries and re-insert them.
